After the whole megaupload-fbi fiasco, a lot of file hosting sites have gone crazy…. some have completely closed down filesharing. Others closed their affiliate programs. This has caused confusion for those searching for a good replacement. While a google search will give you many results, many of these results have not been updated post MegaUpload . This post aims to create a complete options or alternatives list for uploaders of all the available good quality sites with affiliate programs still working for sharing files.
After F.B.I seized MegaUpload servers in U.S and arrested it’s employees, a lot of services like CROCKO, FileJungle, DepositFiles(which later reopened the program) have either closed affiliate earning programs/schemes, closed filesharing altogether, or have deleted user accounts and files. Some sites have blocked US traffic(eg:deposit files)

Filesonic - Stopped filesharing, Closed Affiliate Program, Changed server location Jan 22, 2012.
VideoBB - Closed Affiliate Program.
Filepost - Started suspending accounts.
Uploaded.to - Blocked U.S. access.
Videozer - Closed Affiliate Program.
Filejungle - Owned by Fileserve (same as above).
Uploadstation - Owned by Fileserve (same as above).

What is to be noted is that many sites which were affected were hosted in the U.S. The sites hosted in Russia seem to be pretty much un-affected.. As a matter of fact, many of this sites have started upgrading their servers trying to cope with the extra demand from users and uploaders.
these sites usually have affiliate schemes based on
1-Pay per download i.e there is a fixed amount for every 1000 downloads, which varies based on location of download
2.Pay per sale- the uploader is paid a percentage of sale of every premium account by him
3.A combination of the two.
